Oh man. My friend gifted me her used breadmaker and it is DANGEROUS. I love bread. I am in T-R-O-U-B-L-E.
Today I made a vanilla sour cream sweetbread and if that wasn’t enough…made a delicious, delectable treat to top it:
What am I doing to myself?! YUM. Thankfully, the kids like it too so they’ll help me eat it! It’s the perfect treat on this cold, February, Saturday morning!
And it is as pretty as it is tasty, so I could see using this as a lovely topper for a special brunch treat… oh, the possibilities!
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- Pulse ingredients together in a food processor or blender until well-mixed. Consistency will be somewhat choppy.
- Enjoy on warm breads, croissants, scones, etc!
